Overview

Freedom Batteries needed to see what was driving traffic to their site, what searches they were ranking for, and what actions people were taking while on the site.

Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console

To solve Freedom Batteries’ problem, I set up GA4 tracking and a GSC account. GSC showed us what searches they were ranking for while GA4 gave us a good idea of the intent based on the actions people took on the website.

We noticed that most of the traffic was coming from brand searches sparked by external marketing efforts.

We used GA4 to determine what car batteries people had the most interest in.

Dashboards

I used Google Looker Studio to create dashboards and reports that could be sent off to leadership, management, business, and marketing. We used Looker Studio to see the month-over-month changes. The reports showed what the major traffic sources were, what people were looking for when they got on the site, and made it clear what their most popular batteries were.
